Summer is Wrapping Up

Summer is wrapping up, sending most of us excitedly digging out our sweaters, leggings, and boots. However, just because it’s getting colder doesn’t mean we should stop looking for the best way to get rid of unwanted body hair! Idaho has incredible hot springs and gyms have indoor pools, which means our swim suits don’t ever get truly packed away.

My friends I have literally spent so much time debating the best razors for shaving bikini areas, the best creams to prevent discomfort, and the wide range of hair removal options that are on the market. Again and again we decide that professional waxing is the best choice of hair removal. After this discussion comes the discussion of how intimidating the idea of a Brazilian wax (the removal of ALL pubic hair) is to us!  If we are going to trust someone to remove all of our hair, we want to make sure that a professional makes it as pleasant as possible!

I asked Ariel Glover from e salon and med spa about their Brazilian waxing services and why, out of all the options, would e salon and med spa be the place to trust for this service?

“E salon and med spa has only the most qualified and trained service providers taking care of each guest,” Ariel says. They make sure that each appointment includes a consultation to ensure that each individual person has their needs met. The professionals at e salon and med spa are exactly that, professional, and make their clients comfortable.

Ariel says that her clients always love how amazing and clean they feel right after their waxes. Even though it hurts, it’s worth it! The sting typically only lasts for a few seconds right after the strip of wax is pulled off. Ariel also mentioned that the more frequently you get waxed, the less it hurts!

A Brazilian wax takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Your service provider will give you guidance on how long to wait between appointments and will advise absolutely no shaving in the meantime (typically 3-4 weeks.) They try and create a cycle of waxing at just the right time to damage the hair follicle, therefore deterring hair growth.

Every experience I have had at e salon and med spa has left me confident, comfortable, and excited to do it again. After talking with Ariel, I see that this would be no different!
